The 2020 Folklife Festival Will Be Postponed
The 2020 Smithsonian Folklife Festival presentation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., will be postponed. The Festival was originally scheduled for June 24 to 48 and July 1 to 5.
We encourage you to visit the Festival website, where you will find a treasure trove of offerings spanning more than fifty years of performances, demonstrations, discussions, and workshops. The website contains audio/visual and educational materials, articles, and blog posts representing diverse cultural practices from all fifty states, over one hundred countries, and scores of occupations.
